Lanfranchi Environnement has operated the Écopôle of Viggianello (South Corsica) since 2003 — an ICPE-classified site combining ISDND Class 2, ISDI Class 3 and a professional recycling centre.
From 2003 to strengthened environmental commitment.
Since 2003, Lanfranchi Environnement has been operating in South Corsica on waste treatment and recovery. From 2011, we operated the SYVADEC site for material recovery — an experience that forged our technical know-how and our environmental commitment.
The Écopôle of Viggianello was designed from the start with an unprecedented environmental dimension for a project of this scale in Corsica: cells built according to eight technical stages, biogas capture, reverse-osmosis treatment of leachate, ecological flora-fauna monitoring with a partner association.
In July 2025, the takeover by LEANDRI Holding marked a strengthening — not a break — of our environmental and societal commitments. Management strongly reaffirms the protection of the environment and strict compliance with ICPE regulations.

Since July 2025, Lanfranchi Environnement has been integrated into the LEANDRI Holding group. This takeover marks a strengthening of Lanfranchi's historical environmental commitments: continued certifications, ongoing investments in equipment, and deployment of new recovery channels.
